http://www.cruiseone.com Grand Cayman has a reputation for both its booming financial sector and extraordinary beaches. This destination woos travelers with soft, sandy shores lined with swanky hotels and restaurants. And yet, you’ll also discover a quiet, authentic Caribbean charm here as well. It’s no wonder that the island’s capital of George Town is a mecca for cruise ship visitors. If you’ve booked a shore excursion, it will depart right from the port downtown. But those exploring on their own can stroll past funky shops and hopping restaurants from the moment they arrive on the island. You’ll also want to experience the Seven Mile Beach, which is perhaps the best-known attraction in the region. Or you could head to Smith Cove where exceptional snorkelling, cliff diving and swimmi...

Nestled in the calm, turquoise waters of the western Caribbean, lies the peaceful British Overseas Territory known as the Cayman Islands. Consisting of three islands just 480 miles south of Miami, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman remain our little piece of paradise. Government The Cayman Islands highest official is the Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Duncan Taylor, CBE, who is the appointed representative of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He presides over Cabinet, the ruling body of the country. Mr. Taylor succeeded Mr. Stuart Jack, CVO. The Governor's term is four years. The existing constitution of the Cayman Islands, introduced on August 22, 1972, provides for the government of the Cayman Islands as a British Overseas Territory. The Cayman Islands are composed of three beautiful islands, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. Grand Cayman, home of one of the most popular beach in all of the Caribbean, the Seven Mile Beach is where we stayed at. There are so many things to do and see in this island, the locals are the most friendliest people!. Must see attractions that we went to are: Rum Point, Starfish Point, Stingray City, Smith's Cove, Seven mile beach, Bodden town, and Georgetown. You can actually snorkel right off the port where the cruise ships are , guarantee to see some big sting rays, tarpoons and even some small sharks right there by the shore because of the scraps that the fishermen toss into the water after fishing. (fresh fish market is right there as well). Enjoy the video! and don't forget to...

Through the alleyways
to cool off in the shadows,
then into the street
following the water.
There's a bearded man
paddling in his canoe,
looks as if he has
come all the way from the Cayman Islands.
These canals, it seems,
they all go in circles,
places look the same,
and we're the only difference.
The wind is in your hair,
it's covering my view.
I'm holding on to you,
on a bike we've hired until tomorrow.
If only they could see,
if only they had been here,
they would understand,
how someone could have chosen to go the length I've gone,
to spend just one day riding.
Holding on to you,
